It's not just a blog; it's a journey of self-discovery and connection. Anthropology has been on my mind a lot lately as I try to reach deeper into what it is I want out of this life. Do you ever feel like there's more? What's your purpose? and you have this burning sensation in your heart?

Well, AnthroGlow is it for me...

As I sat here at my laptop deciding whether to click publish or not #procrastination, I began to feel like this is the start of my journey to #selflove and if you're reading this now, well just know I had the courage.

Anthropology by definition is the scientific study of humanity, and human biology in both past and present. - AnthroGlow - is a connection that I came up with to combine elements of anthropology and beauty, suggesting a holistic approach to skincare and wellness inspired by anthropological insights.

I hope to write this blog in a way that people will feel inspired and educated about the beauty and wellness industry from my perspective. As a therapist myself I am constantly learning and moving with this drastically advancing world of beauty and wellness.

I want to explore various cultural practices, historical perspectives, and traditional remedies from different societies around the world, exploring how they relate to skincare, beauty rituals, and overall well-being. And how various treatments can add a certain depth to your self-care.

In my experience being a therapist and my own wellness needs, I know that treatments can be life-changing, mood-changing, and quite honestly can physically and mentally change your whole state and perspective on life. I've felt it myself during chakra cleanses or just a bloody good massage and I have given someone else these feelings during my practices.

So I decided it was time to share a little bit more with you guys. And if nothing else, it'll be my personal report. I am going to be writing tips, advice, and product recommendations informed by both modern science and ancient wisdom. For example, in the world of Guasha, Chinese medicine - works and its been around for thousands of years. But anti-wrinkle injections work too (I am not impartial to either ;) )

I may even start writing reviews and recommendations about spa/skin clinics, Instagrams to follow and treatments I get because I can be very picky. I'm a therapist myself, so it's hard for me. But I absolutely love getting treatments and hate being disappointed when you pay good money. Therefore I will continue to share places and experiences that you should definitely try/ or not try.

That's it for the Intro...

If you like it stick around!

xoxo
